U.S. Senator convicted

this is pretty interesting...http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/27/stevens.jurors/index.html

the fact that this man is still working for our government, i think is wrong. i know he hasnt been charged with any thing yet and he still says he is innocent. But i really hope that Alaska does not vote for this man again. I think just because he is the long running republican senator right now he is staying alive in the senate. he convictions were based off ethical misconduct, which i feel is one of the most important concepts as a government official. let me know what you guys think.

i definetely agree. Republican or democrat, ethical misconduct should be something our country stands firmly together in fighting. He should have been caught a long time ago.
